Hidden Sources of Corn

I have been living gluten free for 6 years and corn free for almost a year and a half. Yet, I was still experiencing some reactions despite cooking at home. I recently learned that Xanthan Gum can be derived from corn, caramel coloring (unless specified it is derived from cane or beet sugar), invert sugar, dextrose , fructose, and some cellulose products are from corn . I found some information regarding good Xanthan Gum substitutes:
2 tsp gelatin for 1 tsp for xanthan gum
3 tsp guar gum for every 2 tsp xanthan gum
1 egg white for  1/4 tsp Xanthan Gum
1 tsbp ground flax seed mixed with 2 tbsp water equals 1/4 tsp of xanthan gum
1 tbsp tapioca starch mixed with 3 tbsp water equals 1/4 tsp xanthan gum
